Wi-Fi Hotspot.
The equipment includes a built-in WiFi hotspot using the LTE standard, which allows for a paid Internet connection. The vehicle is connected via the built-in SIM card with a fee-based hotspot plan from a service provider.
Driving Assistant Plus.
Driving Assistant Plus offers greater comfort and security during monotonous or complex driving situations. These can include traffic jams, stop-and-go traffic or long journeys through the city, on country roads or motorways, along with navigating junctions and lane changes.
Intuitive Operating Concept.
Operating the Infotainment system is now even easier, clearer and more informative. The driver can control it via the touchscreen, the iDrive Controller, voice control or gesture control, according to their preference. The tiles are now displayed as live tiles on the main menu instead of a static menu view.
BMW Head-Up Display.
The full-colour BMW Head-Up Display projects all information relevant to the journey directly into the driver's field of vision, thereby allowing them to fully concentrate on driving. Information such as the current speed, navigation directions, Speed Limit Info including no-overtaking indicator, along with telephone and entertainment lists are displayed.
Instrument Display.
The Multifunctional instrument display with Black Panel technology and a screen diagonal of 12.3" provides a highly impressive visualisation of the driving experience. Three different modes and their specific displays – each of them have their own colour scheme and graphic style – can be displayed in the instrument cluster: ECO PRO, COMFORT and SPORT.

Arrive on time and relaxed. Navigate Door to Door takes you the final short distance from your car to your destination and back. Receive rapid access to the pedestrian navigation service on your smartphone with the support of information from your Connected Onboard screen and push notifications from the BMW Connected app.
Time to Leave Notification
Always arrive on time for your next appointment. The ‘time to leave’ notification on the BMW Connected app reminds you in advance when to set off, communicating with your smartphone or smartwatch. Real-time traffic information helps to calculate the optimal departure time to ensure that you reach your destination on time.
